Wendy Best I will surely miss his preaching. A true man of God. Would always give an encouraging word. I could always call on him for prayer when faced with certain challenges. I remember about the first or second time when he came to preach at my church he let the congregation know that I was his form prefect at secondary school. Your gentle face and patient smile With sadness I recall, You had a kindly word for each And was beloved by all. The voice is mute and stilled the heart That loved us well and true, Ah, bitter was the trial to part From one so good as you. You are not forgotten dear Stephen Nor will you ever be, As long as life and memory last I will remember you. I miss you now, my heart is sore, As time goes by I will miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face, No one can fill your vacant place. Rest in peace my beloved brother in Christ.
