I will truly miss Ion, it was a pleasure working and getting to know him over the years I had worked with him at Marine Safety. We sat beside each other on the 4th floor divided by cubicles. He was a very gentle, kind man who looked after me and helped me out with work related stuff. He talked about work, growing up, his family how proud he was of them. When he talked on the phone in his language, wow & I mean wow, I would put my Headphones in and listen to music (lol) but he knew his stuff. I will truly miss Ion, may he R.I.P. say hi to Zenon for us. :(

I worked with Ion during the time he was in our Vancouver Office. He was a great colleague and over the years we became great friends. I learned a lot from him about the Marine Industry. He would quite often share stories of his life and travels with me, which I always found so interesting. I would always tell him he should write a book. It would have been a best seller. He will be greatly missed. RIP Ion x
