Mr. Williams taught myself and my brother at Little Lever Secondary School. Initially, I was very nervous of his dry ways and sense of humour, but I soon realised what a lovely and kind man he was. I think he despaired at my poor Geography knowledge though! Years later our paths crossed again when we moved to Harwood and began attending Christ's Church. I instantly remembered his warm smile. Our son Billy idolised Peter who was his Cub leader. Although it was not for long, he taught him lots and passed on the love and care he showed to me all those years ago. Our thoughts are with all of Peter's family. He truly was a lovely man and will never be forgotten.
