Today would have been Pat's 56th Birthday. How sad that he isn't here with us to celebrate another year of his amazing life. I still can't believe he has gone from this world but pray that there is something beyond this life and that we will be back together again as husband and wife one day in the future. Until then Pat, I will carry on loving you as I have since that first day we met. I know you liked poetry so this is a short poem especially for you my love.
'Wishing you were here today, for even just a while
So I could say Happy Birthday and see your loving smile.
The only gifts today will be, the sweet memories you left behind
of laughter joy and happiness, that echo on in my mind.
I'll gaze upon your picture, I'll think of you with love
And hope you're doing fine, in heaven up above.
May our friends and family in heaven, hold you closely and sing you a song
And I'll be sending all my love to you, today and all year long.
Love you more than words can express 'My Pad'. Until we meet again my love.
