Mrs Melanie Ravenscroft dedicated her life to helping others. She was Head Teacher at St Aidans CE Primary School in Billinge until Christmas 2020 when she took early retirement. Melanie had previously worked at Eccleston Mere Primary School and Evelyn Primary School. She also spent time at Newton Primary School and at Sherdley Primary School . Melanie also worked as an English consultant for St Helens LA. She touched the lives of so many little people and their families .

Our hearts and prayers go out to Melanies family and friends at this sad time. Melanie was an amazing person and helped us so much over the short time we knew her. She gave us hope when we needed it the most. She helped our son, Kyle transition to St. Aidans and gave him the love and support he needed to thrive, which we will be forever thankful for.
