Dear Barbara and children, Thank u for sharing Matthew with us. Our collaboration over the last 20 years has been an amazing journey through which I have learned and grown so much. Not only did Matthew create countless opportunities for us as consultants but to so many young community workers who received employment opportunities through the research opportunities created. Matthew really left the world a better place through empowering us to continue with the work he so passionately believed in. He generously shared his knowledge and experience and knew how to help us discover our best selves. What a gift and a blessing. Matthew always carried his family close to his heart and was always ready to share the achievements of his wife and children and never hesitated to interrupt a meeting when you or one of his children called. I salute a true and honourable man. We will miss him dearly but will never forget what he has taught us. Feeling so blessed to have shared a part of his journey with him. Sending you and the children so much love
