We are indeed sadden by the sudden demise of our President of WorldSkills International, Jos de Boey. Over the 13 years that I have known Jos, he was a beacon in the WorldSkills movement with his passion and advocacy. He is also a wonderful friend. This year Singapore will be hosting the WorldSkills ASEAN 2020 and I was about to invite Jos for the Opening Ceremony Address when I learnt of this sad news. I want to convey WorldSkills Singapore's deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Jos de Goey. You will always be remembered as a friend with kindred spirit.
