Jos de Goey was CEO of WorldSkills Netherlands, President and Chair of WorldSkills International. Jos’ passing means the loss of a charismatic, passionate and highly committed CEO. Our thoughts are with his wife Anouschka and their children Charlotte and Torsten.

We were very saddened to hear of the death of Jos. Please accept our sincerest sympathy on this terrible loss. We will always remember Jos for his tremendous engagement for youth and skills and for his passion in driving the WorldSkills Movement forward. Having assumed so many different roles and responsibilities within the WorldSkills community from national to international level, Jos certainly was a WorldSkills pillar. We will remember him as a role model and as a leader committed to achieve and perform. Jos was also particularly dedicated to embrace all stakeholders including the private sector. But what was the best, one felt he did it all with great pleasure, joy, fun, a smile and with a wonderful sense of humor. WorldSkills has lot a great ambassador. FESTO and the global FESTO WorldSkillers enjoyed many moments with Jos at different levels and stages. We present our sincere condolences to his wife Anouschka, his children Charlotte and Torsten and to entire WorldSkills family around the globe.
