It was with great sadness that we heard of Harriet Rathbone's tragic death in her home earlier this week, suddenly and unexpectedly. Harriet was an integral part of the Economic Crime Directorate, and was someone who brought people together with her kindness, humour and effervescent personality. Colleagues from across HSG, other parts of the Home Office, the NCA and NECC and UK Finance will all miss her immeasurably.

It was such a pleasure and privilege to work with Harriet. We worked really closely over the last 6 months and our regular chats were always the highlight of my week. She set the standard on what it means to be a colleagues who's great at what they do but also shows so much integrity and care. She was always looking out for people. She was a champion for so many. She set the bar and I'll be forever grateful to her for that. We will miss you always Harriet. My thoughts go out to your family and friends.
