I send Edi's family and friends, my most sincere condolences. I met Edi 17 years ago, and since that very first meeting, he has always acted with such devotion. In the rare moments of discussing his personal life, he was able to share the stress involved in juggling so much, and I felt honoured that he could do so. He set a standard for professionalism that I will always remember. Thanking him for being so inclusive, and caring is an understatement, and finding a way to discuss (and publish) the imperfectness of real projects will go down as one of my most cherished memories.
