My heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Dr Ibrahim. I had the wonderful pleasure of working with him in London and Nigeria (an IPPF/PPFN project on safe motherhood) about 10-12 years ago. He had a kind soul and cared so much about PPFN's work and its clients - the women and girls of Nigeria. He really made an impression on me. Never one to seek the limelight, he just quietly got on with the job and supported all of his colleagues. I will carry his kindness and vision for a more equal world with me forever.
