I am shocked and saddened by the untimely death of our dear brother Dr Ibrahim. At individual level, Dr Ibrahim was my role model - source of hope and calmness. I wholeheartedly thank him and remain grateful for the support when we directly worked together. Through him, I discovered and experienced the warmth and love of Nigeria and Nigerians – thank you Oga. I am sure hundreds benefited from his unique approach to leadership, management and solving complex issues. Admirable patience and resilience while managing the biggest and complex MA. He was an asset not only for PPFN but for IPPF as a whole – I do not remember any major regional or global initiative which did not involve Dr Ibrahim, including the Strategic Framework. He was an exceptional human being, leader by example with extraordinary achievements and remarkable legacy. We will miss him but his legacy lives in us forever. Rest in eternal peace my brother. My Lord comfort his beautiful family and PPFN at this time of grief.
