Met Dave when the Environment Agency was formed in 1996 when Dave came to Foley House Kidderminster with other of his colleagues from Walsall HWU. Dave was so friendly one of the nicest chaps you could ever wish to meet. He was such a generous person. He knew of my interest in the Fire Service and brought me back from one of his Spanish holidays a model Spanish Fire Engine which has pride of place on my book shelf with my other model Fire Engines. Dave was such a generous caring person who always put others before himself. RIP Dave, sincere condolences to Pam and family.
