Dave started teaching for the WEA in 2016. His Emotional Health Mentoring courses were a hit with students right away and many went on to volunteer and mentor in schools themselves. We are grateful for Dave’s huge contribution to the WEA community and he will be missed by students, staff and partners alike. We have spoken to as many of Dave’s recent students as we could get hold of and they all pass on their condolences. One of the students described his teaching as ‘inspirational’ and they all said how much his courses meant to them. The rapport with his students was evident in each class and it is testament to his wonderful teaching and subject knowledge that students signed up for course after course with Dave. He created a warm, supportive learning environment
