You said you might explain the wider context when we meet again and then I called you a master of suspense and you laughed and.. cruelly left me with a pending explanation. Isn't it silly when they say you passed away, you're not away, you're closer than ever and through us you live. Thank you.

During my last months in college in 2019, I saw Mr. Vezeridis, of course in the library, and he looked very happy. Without hesitating, I asked him what was new as in joking, and he smiling ear-to-ear replied to me "Why would I tell you?" and I laughed out loud haha. I will always remember you sir and I will smile. How little did we, your students, knew about you, yet we all understood you were a hurricane, a beautiful mind and a pure soul. May your soul rest in a better place!

Hi Costi, it was when you were debating with Philip Kargopoulos in the faculty lounge shortly after joining the ACT faculty that I first took note of you as a colleague and an intellect. The booming voice, the poise, the endearing combination of playfulness and earnestness all commanded my attention. "Hidden teleologies" was the phrase you used to dismantle the arguments of your counterpart. Welcome to the faculty, I thought to myself at the time, this is going to be really interesting. And so it has been. Thank you for your collegiality and insight, even when we disagreed. And thank you for inspiring our students so impressively!

Mr. Vezeridis was a great professor and also a great person. He worked tirelessly to make things work for us students. I had a tought class last semester where, with his help I learned many important skills. I really wished to meet him in the campus next academic year. I will always remember the times he got "mad" with excel or with us for asking stupid questions, but in the end he never left questions unanswered. I wish he reasts in peace now!

Words are not my thing and it bothers me that whatever I would say it can not depict the exact feelings, but I couldn't miss to write something, being this the only way now. The shock was too big for all of us and I hope you can see how much you were loved, appreciated, respected, honoured for your brilliant mind, your teaching skills, your mentoring, but above all for your big and humble heart, for your simple way of being a great human being. A unique persona, which I guess it is not always easy to cope in life but I hope you had your blessings and I am sure you did it your own way. Thank you giant, for everything. May you rest in peace. You will be missed. Who knows, some say we all meet again. Μεγάλη αγκαλιά.
