My dear friend and colleague Chris, I am going to miss you even though I know you are in a good place smiling down upon us. My thoughts are with you Jane, the family, and of course Ivy. Bless you all as you take remember your loving partner and father and friend.
We enjoyed each other’s company - our dealings with PRISA, working on your 2nd MA; our workshops together in far flung places, writing numerous articles and your inviting me into the fold as your long standing co-author of the Handbook. It was an honour. Throughout the past 30 years you gave me hope, made me laugh, and shared many ideas. You were always kind, putting other people first; humility, compassion and generosity were your hallmarks. There is much that will be remembered of your achievements and legacy of gifts to the local community, South Africa, and indeed the African continent. Your passing has left us poorer, God bless you Chris.
