Like many - I remember the buzz that would regularly circulate around the office upon the release of that month's Orange Rag. And only the printed copy would do. I had the pleasure of meeting Charles on a couple of occasions - which was both inspiring and fun. It is impossible to encapsulate all that he has contributed and the lives he has enriched. But clearly his work was all done with love, respect and hope. My deep condolences to his family. RIP.

Charles was the much loved husband of Jane Christian. A former barrister, Charles was an award winning journalist, podcaster and weird tales storyteller. He founded the Orange Rag legal technology publication in 1995, becoming the earliest authority on the subject. Charles will be remembered by so many people for his acerbic wit, his journalistic fearlessness, and his kindness to people who reached out to him for help and advice.
