Chandru was a one of a kind person. Full of knowledge on various subjects and could carry on a discussion on most anything as he was so well read. we met first as radio amateurs but we shared interests in motor sports and Freemasonry and so had numerous occasions to meet. Difficult to realize that there will be no more meetings and my turning up at his home to stay whenever I was in Bangalore. We traveled together on many occasions RIP dear friend- I am glad I had a chance to speak to you yesterday morning not knowing it would be our last conversation
