I was so sorry to hear of Valeri’s sudden death and we want to express our most sincere sympathies to his family during this difficult time from the Euronav team.
He was a highly valuable and respected member of our team.
Valeri was a wonderful person and Captain who understood the meaning of the word "team."
He was always more focused on the good of the company and the vessels he was serving as Master than on his own benefit. He made many great contributions to the company and his work will not soon be forgotten.
He will be greatly missed and everyone here is saddened by his death. We will never forget the warmth his smile brought to all of us we have worked with him but most to his crew members onboard Euronav vessels.
