Craig lived life to the fullest. Whether it was riding his bmx or mountain bike, surfing the beautiful waves of Muriwai Beach or playing his favourite tune on the guitar, Craig poured his heart and soul into everything he did. No more so than with his beautiful family, Lucy, Kauri and Tai. We will miss you brother, rest easy.

I got to know Craig and Lucy better (we were school bus stop buddies) when Lucy told us to come to Craig’s film screening at the surf club. My boys and I were super impressed and inspired. After that I used to chat to Craig at the bus stop occasionally, and I couldn’t help myself gawping at little Tai waving Kauri off on the bus, just such lovely wee boys who were clearly adored by their dad. Those bus stop memories will always stay with me now.
