The NHC community is deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, friend, and leader. Brian Hughes tragically passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. Brian joined NHC in 1988 and over the course of the next 30 years had an enormous impact on this organization. Brian was widely respected by his peers and deeply admired by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. A Celebration of Life service is planned for June 23, 2018, at 2 pm on Mount Seymour at the Enquist Lodge, 1700 Mt Seymour Road, North Vancouver, BC.

    Very well said, Ed. Very touching and appropriate. It was always fun to see the two of you going head-to-head. I could tell he had the same respect for you too.
