Brian Hughes

26 mei 1963 - 1 juni 2018

The NHC community is deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, friend, and leader. Brian Hughes tragically passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. Brian joined NHC in 1988 and over the course of the next 30 years had an enormous impact on this organization. Brian was widely respected by his peers and deeply admired by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. A Celebration of Life service is planned for June 23, 2018, at 2 pm on Mount Seymour at the Enquist Lodge, 1700 Mt Seymour Road, North Vancouver, BC.

I am saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Brian. I worked at NHC for only a few years, and not much directly with Brian, but he still made a genuine effort to welcome and encourage me at the beginning of my career. He had a great smile that was consistently shared with others, a fun and active personality, and a driven and respected professional. I pass on my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues. I can only hope and pray that his loved ones can eventually find some peace in knowing that the goodness and spirit of Brian carries on in all those he loved, influenced, raised, and worked with. Blessings and Peace.
