The NHC community is deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, friend, and leader. Brian Hughes tragically passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018. Brian joined NHC in 1988 and over the course of the next 30 years had an enormous impact on this organization. Brian was widely respected by his peers and deeply admired by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him. A Celebration of Life service is planned for June 23, 2018, at 2 pm on Mount Seymour at the Enquist Lodge, 1700 Mt Seymour Road, North Vancouver, BC.

Earlier today I found that Brain had an accident and passes away last Friday. Just cannot believe that he is no longer with us. This is a tragic loss and I am very sadden. I had many opportunities to work with him. He was always very helpful and guided me to the right direction. We will surely miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children.
