Bishop Christopher D Bartlett

24 mei 1963 - 7 april 2020

Christopher Dacosta Bartlett a husband of 30 years to Vivien Bartlett went home to glory in the early morning on the 7th April 2020. His early and sudden departure has torn at the heart strings of us all. He leaves behind his loving wife, his two beautiful daughters, his caring son-in-law, his gorgeous grandson, his praying mother, his loyal brother, his three kind sisters and his father. This has left a big hole in our family and in the hearts of all those who knew him, as he was not only a devoted and loving husband, a caring son, a brother, a father and a proud grandfather but he was a caring Father in the Gospel, a Bishop, the Senior pastor at Burning Bush Apostolic Christian Ministries, a qualified Counsellor and a friend to many. Although we mourn his legacy still lives on and we will continue to build on his great works.

Kevin Reid 2020-04-15 19:07:01 schreef: How can we describe such a one, he was very special from the time we first met. I did see him through to salvation, when he got baptised and filled with the Holy Ghost. We did work together including evangelism, praying and fasting, going on the mission fields: Ecuador, Nigeria and so much more. Seeing him becoming a young people's leader then becoming an exalter, minister, elder, pastor and Bishop. When he started courting, his engagement and when he got married, had children and children's children up until his departure. He had made his life an example for many with his compassion for others. His desire was to see souls saved and the best for everyone: familiy, church family and friends. He loves to laugh and make others laugh with his sense of humour, joy and unique laughter. He was a very down-to-earth easy to approach passionate follower of Christ. He had touched many lives both near and far. We thank God for him taking heed to God's call and anointing upon his life. Philippians 1:21 For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Love and blessings Mother Morgan and Elder Kevin Reid (prayer partners)
