Dad... what can I say? My fondest memory is as a teen, crazy about a band called Aha! Dad said that we had to get ready to go out as he had an errand to run for a friend... well I was not best pleased as Aha were going to be on Blue Peter. Anyway off we, the whole family, had to get washed and polished to go to run this "errand" - and we get there - to the Albert Hall. And who happen to be playing there later that night... yes, Aha. I saw all the ticket touts and merchandising and I begged and begged dad to get a ticket... but no, we were there for this errand. I had to pass all these fans who were lucky enough to be going in to see the band that I loved.. and I was just there on an errand. Well we are all taken into the office and I am handed an envelope. I looked confused and Dad said "open it". So I did. There were 4 tickets to the concert... in the best seats in the house. I was so surprised.. the concert was fantastic! I really think Dad went over and above! What a star!
