Dear O'Dea Community,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the sudden passing of Andrew Walker, Class of 2018, son of Principal Jim Walker, and brother to O’Dea alums Christopher 2017 and Jonathan 2022. Unfortunately, Andrew experienced a medical emergency while participating in a marathon and was transported to a hospital where life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.
Andrew was very involved during his time at O’Dea as a school leader, a football and lacrosse student athlete, a mentor for Little Irish, and so much more. Andrew recently graduated from Boise State University and worked as a graduate assistant for the Broncos Football Team. We ask for continued prayers for the Walker family and O’Dea community as we grieve the loss of Andrew.
We know many of your lives were impacted by Andrew. As such, this page is intended to collect messages for the Walker Family, as well as memories, anecdotes, and photographs illustrating moments you shared with Andrew.
