It is awkward for me to be sending this condolence so late. However, I count Andrew as perhaps my very best childhood friend. Seeing a message from Paul Shrier really brought back memories. I lived about a half mile away from Andy, Betty and Andrew around 7th thru 10th grades. Andrew and I were always up to something, usually no good. I have been in Sacramento, CA the last 30 some years and did not get to visit Illinois very often. My brother and I did visit in 2016, oddly enough, and I tried to get to see Andrew but had to settle for a phone conversation and, wonderfully, a visit with Betty in Eureka.
You can imagine my shock, sadness and surprise when, several weeks after returning home, Betty informed me that Andrew was gone.
What can anyone say. Goodbye my old friend. I have many good memories and pray that God has received your soul because of Christ’s finished work at Calvary.
