Andrew Alicoon

31 maart 1963 - 10 april 2020

Andrew was a family man first and everything else second. He was a true gent, always happy, always proud and always prepared to help others in need. Andrew was loved and liked by everyone around him in his personal and professional life and Andrew genuinely liked everyone back. Andrew had three passions in his life, his wife, his boys and his beloved Arsenal. Never happier on a Monday morning than when the Gunners had taken three points on a Saturday and Tottenham had lost. A beloved colleague to many and someone who will be sorely missed by all who knew him. The world is a worse place for it’s loss.

I would like to pay tribute to my dear friend Andrew. I knew him for the best part of 20 years in a friendship which began after he took me under his wing when I first joined the PI market at RSA. When I went on to pastures new we remained firm friends and it was always a pleasure to catch up with him for lunch or a drink so that I could hear his news and we could debate the latest football issue of the day. Andrew was part of that rare breed where he didn't have bad bone in him and he was the type of person who always looked for the best in people. It was an honour to count Andrew as a close friend and colleague and I will sorely miss him. My deepest condolences to Melanie, Marc and Ryan - I wish you all a long life.
