Thereafter, he became acting CCH and OR Head, so I got to work with him. My most memorable moment with him was when he accompanied me to explain to OR how I did a certain program. I was so nervous as I was so young and would be talking to someone senior. But all went well as he was there to support me. Sir allan was an inspiration, especially to bankers here in Dubai, as he made it to the top despite the tough competition and the glass ceiling we have. And I was lucky to have known him, first as a boss and then as a friend in the last 12 years. Sir Allan was a good, thoughtful and generous friend. He was our eldest brother. Our Kap. And he will be missed terribly. Rest in Peace, Sir Allan. Until we meet again.
