I can truly say I wouldn't be where I am had I not been through Alan's revision weekends. I started going to Alan's revision weekend for my 2nd to last module on Strategy before I qualified. I have never met anyone that is so passionate as Alan is for his delivery. He turned me into an expert in strategy for running a hotel so much so that I had my first ever distinction after going through his revision weekend! Not only is Alan an expert in what he is teaching, he actually made the very dry subjects into something interesting! I remember he kept telling me to make sure that he is one of my referees for my associateship application when I qualified and he did just that when I applied for my associateship this year. I still have a copy of my form with Alan's signature endorsing my application for associateship! I have expected to hear one day that Alan is finally retiring rather than the shocking news that we heard. Thank you Alan!
