I met Tina at a moment in my life where I was lost and struggling at work. She was part of my team in DWP and when she realised about my situation she reached out and helped me. She supported me with essays, interviews and always gave me the best advice. It was thanks to her that I managed to secure a job in a think thank and a master’s offer in Oxford. During the time we worked together, she became a good friend; one of those you know you can count on whenever you needed someone. She was unique, with a big heart and someone to learn from. She was one of the most generous persons I ever met. She never expected anything in return—she just genuinely cared. I will definitely miss her.

I had the pleasure of working with Tina for just over 16 months, during which time she made a lasting impact on me and so many others. She was a genuinely lovely and caring person – always asking after my family and remembering the little things I'd shared with her. We chatted regularly over our love of books, and I really miss her recommendations and offers to lend me her latest read. One thing that always stood out to me was how considerate Tina was. She never wanted to take up my time, no matter how much I encouraged her to just put something in my diary. Professionally, Tina was someone I could rely on. If she committed to something, she would see it through. She was tenacious, knowledgeable, and incredibly resourceful – never taking no for an answer and always finding creative ways to move forward when faced with blockers. Since her passing, many colleagues have reached out to share how Tina supported them personally – how much her kindness, encouragement, and presence meant to them. Reading those messages has only confirmed what we all knew: Tina was a remarkable person. Her passion, compassion, and support for others will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

I am in total shock. We recently met at Heron House and had a great catch-up. Your personality is so marmite and I love marmite! People always knew when they had spoken to you as you had an opinion and you were forthright on giving it...and backing it up with your reasons. It was very rare that you would change your mind... you always listened to others and explained your reasons. You would admit if you were wrong... though you were mostly right as your knowledge and ability to retain so much info was truly amazing. The comment you were scary is so true... and angry/cross... as others didn't live up to your high standard. But the most important thing was you were kind and so caring ... the help you gave to people inside and outside of work.... I don't know how you fitted it all in... you must have had a big heart. Funny and giggles have been mentioned and yes you had an amazing sense of humour and that giggly laugh was what I remember. Glad you got that career you wanted you were so happy when I last spoke to you... always thinking of others, you deserved something for you. Miss you and RIP my dear Tina xx

All of the memories collected here resonate with me. Tina was tenacious and committed to getting things done in the right way and at speed - this sometimes made her seem critical but she was actually a softy and loved people. She loved team events in side and outside work and disarming with her big smile. I remember how conscientious she was about getting her skills in GOST right and several conversation we had around that- also how proud she was about her Project learning and certificates. She loved the challenge. Even though I am in my 60s she still gave me advise as if from my mother - "Tony your hair is getting a bit too long" and she is one of the very few contacts in my telephone that remained there years after directly working with her - love Tony

Although we didn’t work together for long, Tina left a lasting impression on me. One of my fondest memories is of our team quizzes — Tina had a brilliant knack for blurting out the answers before anyone else had a chance to think! It always made us laugh, and her enthusiasm was completely infectious. Her quick wit and infectious giggle brought so much joy to those moments. It’s that sense of fun, her kindness, and the way she made people feel at ease that I will always remember. Tina truly brightened the room, and she will be deeply missed.

Tina was a very strong willed lady and always wanted to make sure things were done right, I remember one time she challenged me over a process I had completed and said I had done it wrong, I have to say I was very relieved when I was able to show her the guidance, as she could be very scary. However, she was also funny, kind and willing to help anyone. We were speaking about our sons and I told her he wanted to change career, she couldn't give me enough advice and help around this and also sent me vacancies within the Civil Service which she said would be suitable for him. She always wanted the best for people and was so proud of her family and what her boys achieved. Se was very determined and this showed by how she progressed within her career and she was an inspiration. She will be missed greatly and I'm glad I had the pleasure of working with her.

The first time I met Tina she was cross, angry and very disappointed. She had joined an initiative that I was heading up at work, and felt like she was not being heard by her colleagues. We talked for a long time, and whilst she was genuinely angry, she was also very funny, eloquent, and had an enthusiasm that was quite contagious. I understood why she was cross, and together we worked at getting beyond that and getting her ideas heard and up & running. She had a real spark that just needed to be channelled. I met with her quite a number of times over the following month and every time she was the same, feisty, fearless, and funny and that never changed over the years. Always determined, always had a voice, and always had something insightful to say about anything and everything. She was passionate about what she believed in and you could always really see and feel that. That led her to great things and her career went up and up. She truly deserved that and I was so pleased for her. We reconnected earlier this year after moving in different circles for a while and we laughed a lot. It was like no time had passed and we made plans to get together again to put the world to rights for an hour. Sadly that never came to be. A genuine beautiful soul and always a pleasure to be around. Feisty, Funny and Fearless to the end. Will truly be missed but certainly never forgotten.

Tina, although we never worked together for long I was always happy to see your name pop up on a message knowing that it would be from your lovely cheerful positive self. I enjoyed the giggles we had together and you are truly missed. Your memory is a blessing. Rest in eternal peace.
