Chikuuuu.... That's what he used to call me (along with Pathak bhai) claiming i resemble Swadesh movie's kid. And he always used to address me with the same name until when I talked to him lasr 2 weeks back when he was in hospital.... Never thought that I would be talking to him last time :(! He always used to pick me in the hostel, always behind me... Yaar chiku tere Maharashtra group mein itni ladkiya aayi hai, ek patties to banta hai teri taraf se! Can't forget my shaadi incidence... He started getting stomach ache at the midnight and Ritesh took him to civil hospital nearby and got him injection. Ritesh's funny narration of that incident in the morning which made everyone laugh like anything and how sportingly that innocent chap took it! In US, he used to work for Good Year client and I used to tell him, kabhi to aa milne mujhe, mere baaju mein hi Good Year ka garage hai, client visit karne hi aaja n i can still sense the outburst of his laughter! Good times spent with him are simply flashing by, difficult to digest that you are not around. Chiku will miss you bhai until we meet again on the other side! Love you... :(
2005 4th year - farewell party. Typical Kunal's expression while dancing..yaha bhi kuch to kha raha tha..
“Ghosh Babu” – smiley eyes with blushed face. Always searching for some Masala / updates in Hostel. Year 2001- First Person I met in MNIT hostel # 1 Room # 83 was Kunal Ghosh. A very innocent boy came with his Parents, standing aside and just listening conversation of his parents and mine. In evening time he always found at GMP with one cup of tea and patties. Lot of memories I have with him, now when I think in flashback his smiling face and round frame chashma coming in front of my eyes. At time we were going to Jaipur from Ujjain and I was waiting for train, train came and Kunal bhai with full excitement….”Hii Arpit” and jumped and fall down on platform and ended with injured knees….. Lot of memories …you came with your parents to my home we had a lovely family chatting on dinner …time we spent in TechM…time we spent in Pune. Love you Kunal. You will always be missed.
Ghosh Babu, I dont want to write this as I cant form in words to express the loss. - First guy to write me recommendation on LinkedIn - First guy to congratulate and ask me for a treat after I got job at IBM - Only person to never miss to wish me on my birthday. I am going to miss this MP guy, a true Bengali from heart terribly. We rarely speak once a year when he would ping me to ask where I am and how am I doing. The only one in my college friends who even with distance kept the bonding. He was a true foodie. Whenever I try to rememver him in College, its with his mouth stuffed with Samosa or Bun Omlette or sweets at some of the eateries place or in someone'e hostel room. His innocence and smile I am going to miss my lifetime. I never found him impatient, at times worried yes, but Ghosh babu, this one race you finished too fast. Wish you are happy and enjoying some good food and delicacies wherever you are my dear friend. I wish strength and peace for his family for this loss. God please bless them all with strength and happiness, because I know Ghosh Babu will love to see them smiling always.
“Bhaalu” - I know it may sound offensive or rude to some of you but that’s what I used to call him fondly. Kunal and I are pass-outs from same college but we never interacted with each other during college days. We came to know each other only after we started working in Pune. I was living with other batch mates (Abhishek Agarwal, Ritesh Bansal, Manoj Vijayvargia) in Pune when Kunal visited our house. That’s when I first met him and soon enough he back a regular visitor and a good friend of mine. Kunal was always a happy person with a big smile on his face all the time. His heart was so pure that he could never hide his happiness. It used to cost him dearly when we used to play 3-Patti and Poker during his visits to our house. Whenever he used to get good hands, he would have such a big grin on his face that rest of us would fold. It was with his losings that all of us used to enjoy our Samosa, Kachori and Jalebis the next morning. But that never deterred him from coming again the next weekend for another round! I never imagined in my life that I would be writing this memory. I guess it’s a reminder to all of us that life is short and unpredictable and it’s the memories that we make that will live with others forever. I will cherish my memories with Kunal for the rest of my life. I will miss you Kunal…
Roll Number 010239 remember meeting you first during the Counselling at MACT Bhopal. We were together in almost all the curricular activities - Class Practicals /Viva / Project / Presentation / Summer Training / even Exams ;). So many memories are coming afresh bhai !! Will always cherish the beautiful moments spent with you Ragging days, Bhopal summer training fun, Chennai days and so many movies we watched together. Your love for canteen junk food, Yahoo Chatting, Browsing internet (your fav hobby as you used to tell), late night maggie at Nescafe, borrowing notes from you invariably before any important assignment, discussing many weird topics, especially remember you checking out every room in Hostel 3 for taking updates, your innocence. Always hated your impatience to finish things as fast as possible and will ever hate you for finishing this journey so soon!! Pray to Lord to give strength to all your near & dear ones and may your memories in everyone's life give strength to sail through further. Love you bhai!!

Kunal bhai, You were probably the youngest bloke in the Tumpu class of 2005 (you just beat me to it by a month and a half). Never thought you will take the youngest challenge so seriously :( There are so many memories that we have shared. People always remember you for the patties and the cream rolls that was kind of your favorite snacks and you were always found around them. For me the greatest memory of us together is the ragging call that you, Abhishek, Arpit and I were part of. I know it is something that you did not recall so fondly, but it just created an unforgettable memory. "The pagal hathi" call has remained one of the most laughter filled episode of my college life. I still tell about that incident (and the call that followed where we all cried) to everyone I know. I wish I had remained more in touch than i did. If there is afterlife, I am sure that you will greet with a patty and the cutest smile when its my turn there. You will forever remain in our hearts and in our memories. You are missed brother!!
