March 4, 1949 - January 5, 2021

Sandra was a wonderful wife, a magnificent mother, a grand grandmother. and a positive person. She was renowned for her laughter, her caring nature and her commitment to service. She will be missed not only by her family and friends but also by the birds she fed so freely. She loved nature and the environment.

Sandra was very kind, thoughtful and inclusive. She and Alan 'adopted' my mum when she moved back to Canberra after my dad died. They would collect her each month and take her to Neighbourhood Fellowship at St Peters and also on the annual bus trip where Sandra always made sure there was gluten free food for mum.

I first met Sandra more than 40 years ago at the Lyons Church of Christ. We used to playtennis on Saturday afternoons. The boys were only babies and spent the afternoon in a cot in the tennis shed, We have been part of 'The Group' for 30 years, meeting weekly or fortnightly for bible study and/or fellowship. We have shared so many 'family' events over the years - births, deaths, baptisms, weddings, trips to Wallagoot with Alan playing his Roger Miller cd... Sandra loved animals - her dogs and my dog too. Her laugh was infectious and I will miss her happy disposition and calm presence.

Our Jamieson Cousin get togethers were always such special and happy days and it was so good that Alan and Sandra came up from Caberra often and Janice came down from Rockhampton. Our Jamieson parents kept the family close together and there is a strong bond between the cousins which would make our parents very happy. This is a photo of our last gathering in 2019. When Sandra spoke with you she showed a real interest in you and it was a joy to have a converstaion with her. She will be very much missed. Love and copndolences to Alan and the family. Sandra had the most wonderful laugh and was always so happy. This photo taken in Caloundra at Lauraine and Peter's in 2007 shows the beautiful laugh of Sandra. So many lovely memories. Margaret Bull

Living in Queensland it was always a treat when Uncle Alan and Auntie Sandra came to visit, and it always gave a great excuse for a family get together full of laughs and fun.

Will always miss Auntie Sandra's uplifting laugh and smile. Always willing to make you a cup of tea, even if she was in your kitchen.
