Dad I miss you so much, especially your smile when I walked thru the door. I enjoyed the time we spent together talking about you growing up in Vermont, your time in the military and the years you spent as a mechanic. I remember our trips to Vermont and you showing Kim and I where you grew up in Graniteville and the granite quarry where you worked, time spent at Peacham and Coles Pond. I remember camping at Fisheating Creek and you teaching Kim and I how to fish and boat rides in the Everglades. I treasure the moments when you taught me how to stamp leather and the beautiful designs you created. I will always be grateful you welcomed my friend Joanna as your family. I remember your face would light up when you spoke to Sean and Kristen about your past and they collected feathers for Boppy for fly tying. Dad you taught me to be strong and that family is important. Over the years we became close and for that I am grateful. I will never forget the many times you squeezed my hand and said “I love you girl.” I miss you so much Dad and I will love you forever.
I will always remember our trips to Vermont where we took walks and enjoyed eating lunches at the Malt Shop in Stowe. Spending time with you visiting the places you grew up in and learning about your life growing up. Talking about and showing my children places from your past like the granite quarry, Peacham, and Graniteville You always enjoyed talking about your time in the Army and being a mechanic and loved to hear about Justin's experiences in the Airforce. Tiffani will always be your "Best Friend" as that phrase was given to you by her on one of our trips together. My whole life you taught me to work hard and do things right the first time and I will continue to follow this advice in honor of you. Love you DAD, forever and always.

Mr. Rouse, I remember spending time with your family almost as far back as I can remember. Jen was always so kind to have me over the house. I remember watching you create beautiful leather belts and things. I remember how you let us ride the three wheeler in the back of the house. I remember how you would almost treat us like adults and include us on what you happened to be doing that evening, like learning how to make ammo. Such cool things that the average girl didn’t get to experience. I think of you like Red Foreman on the 70’s show, so quick to impart wisdom with truths but also the twinkle and gentleness in your eye. I also learned about real life- things kids shouldn’t know. My dad worked for Delta and you were with Eastern. Those sad times had a face and that was my best friends family. I always cherished spending time with the whole family. I was blessed to have that opportunity. God speed and God Bless
