Quentin Wesley Singleton, 43, transitioned March 12, 2021, with his wife by his side in Lithonia, GA.
He was born July 9, 1977, in Columbus, OH to Wesley (deceased) and Mary Singleton. He was employed by Ansco & associates LLC.
Quentin was a true athlete from pee wee leagues through high school; He played, football, basketball, track and volleyball. He graduated from Independence High School, home of his beloved 76’ers in 1995. He relocated to Atlanta, GA in search of warmer weather in 2004, where he would later meet and marry the love of his life ‘Deedee’ Brownlee.
He was a member of Word of Faith Church.
He was an active member of the APA Billiard organization, a licensed volleyball referee and a grill/BBQ enthusiast. He was well known for his ability to fry a delicious turkey and he loved a great deal on a quality television set, the bigger the better.
His interests included family & friends, watching movies, shooting pool competitively, karaoke. He loved to laugh, reminisce and tell stories.
Quentin is survived by his wife, Khadedra (Dee Dee) Singleton; daughter, Lauren Singleton; mother, Mary Singleton; sister, Nicole Lawrence (Richard); aunt(s) & uncle, Ruby Williams (Odell, deceased) Patricia Fluellen, John Lee. A host of paternal aunts, uncles and maternal/paternal cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley A. Singleton and maternal grandmother Flossie Lee.
