Where to even begin?!?! Since everyone loved your fried turkey....I'll share the memory of the first time YOU had fried turkey. Took you back to Milwaukee to meet my family for the holidays and my Uncle John made his infamous fried turkey. You were NOT having it. You were so disgusted. Like WTH is a FRIED turkey?!?! We someone convinced you to try it, and the rest was history!!! I remember you and my Uncle John traded recipes and tips. I'll never forget the day you called me to tell me you'd mastered the recipe. One of the last times we talked was around Thanksgiving; I was telling you I was going to put a turkey breast in the air fryer, and you were trying to convince me to put lemon pepper seasoning on the skin. Even though I don't like lemon pepper. But you kept trying to convince me to use lemon pepper. I didn't use lemon pepper then and I probably never will.....but fried turkey is one of the MANY memories we share and will be one I will always hold near. You were a great friend and I will miss you dearly. I will never look at sweater vests the same. RIL QWS05.

I will always remember how you used to tell us the story about your African co-worker and the truck the company gave him. You would have us all in stitches. I can hear you in my head saying, “Oh but I can not”

Q you were one of a kind. We met and bonded over 10 yrs ago bc of our love of karaoke. I am so blessed I got to visit Atlanta in January and spend time with you and DeeDee. You went out of your way to show me the sights and a good time. That's just the type of man you were. You had the biggest heart and laugh. You left an impact on everyone you met. Sending my prayers and love to DeeDee, Lauren your Mom and your entire family. Until we meet again Q!

Q... my dear friend. I am so honored to have met you in your lifetime. You have been a true friend and I know that my life will be a little different now not having you sitting there beside me at karaoke in the future. Singing was your joy..as well as mine and I am so glad that we met and became family. I’ve known you for more than 8 years and during that time, you never changed. I never saw a different side of you which made me believe you were not only a child of God, but an awesome friend. Thank you for always thinking about me enough to message me on my birthdays, Mother’s Days, New Years, Christmas, etc. it’s going to be so hard not seeing your text messages coming through anymore. Thanks for being there for me as a friend when I lost my Dad last year. Thanks for inviting me, Donovan and DJ into your home to share moments and make memories with you, your Mom, your beautiful and loving wife, Dee Dee, your fur babies, Wesley, Sampson, your relatives and family friends. I’ll never forget that good food you always made... with a smile. It has been a pleasure knowing you while you were here. I still read our texts from time to time and laugh about the many discussions we had about life and karaoke. You were very wise for your age and you opened my eyes to a lot of people and things. Rest now my friend. You will never be forgotten and the next song I sing.. will be for you my friend. Love you always. Your buddy, PEJAY.

To a man that never met a stranger. Strong opinions but always had your best interests at heart. I miss you everyday. Your friendship meant the world to me. Thank you for being my rock, my debate partner and someone who always made my heart smile. I will never forget what you told me and will strive to be the person you saw in me. Love you . To the singleton family, our hearts and prayers ask for peace for each of you. He spoke of the love he had for all of you frequently, even when everyone didn't see eye to eye. He was so proud of his daughter and the love was evident in the stories that he would share. He spoke of his pool partners and the joy he had in sharing laughter and stories with them. I promised him karaoke someday and I won't forget it, even though I can't sing. Rest in blessings.....

Bruh Bruh, I love you! I will miss you always and I'll carry you forever in my heart. Give daddy and grandma my love. Being your baby sister has been a pleasure and has given me far more memories than I can express in writing. I will hear your warm laugh everytime mommy says something that I know we would joke about. This is rough but I know you're free of pain, worry, stress and heartbreak so I will take solice in that. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord, you're in the best of hands now.
