Nothing can prepare us for the loss of a dear loved one. May the love of family, the support of friends, and the many fond memories that you shared over the years bring warmth to your heart. Take comfort in knowing that ;our Heavenly Father feels compassion for you (Psalm 34:18) and has made promises that are guaranteed to come true. Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more... John 5:28,29 ..the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. No words will describe the hours, days and years Varshaben put in nurturing us in satsang. The foundations she laid teaching us of the mahima of our Nar Narayan Dev and Dharmakul will stay with us forever and be shared within our own families. No matter where we live we shall always remain indebted to Her. x

Varshaben was and still is a pillar in my life, she played a huge part laying down the foundations and moulding me into the person I am today, for which I am eternally grateful. I feel extremely blessed to have gone through my childhood years in Varshabens lifetime and to have enjoyed the company of and shared moments with such a compassionate, gentle and powerful soul. Varshaben would spread her love and passion for Maharaj to every soul that crossed her path (animals, birds, plants included) From our interactive satsang classes at Mandir to playing raas and singing our mahamantra dhun in the school playground during lunchtime. At times many came off the climbing frame and others stopped playing football to join in our Chapaiiya raas. Varshaben inspired many to set goals, take niyams and make sure they are completed no matter what circumstances we are in. She taught us how to read Gujarati which enabled us to access our beautiful collection of Shahastras. Varshaben ignited the flame of satsang within us and guided us to strive to be the best version of ourselves. Varshaben left behind a legacy etched in our minds and heart. Our duty is to preserve it and pass on the wealth of knowledge and wisdom for many generations to come. We should all treasure and cherish the amazing memories we have and imagine her doing what she ultimately spent her whole life working towards; which is to serve our beloved NarNarayan Dev.

Varshaben was such a focal point and a constant in my childhood and through the years once grown up; I feel so privileged to have personally experienced her presence and am grateful for the impact she has had upon me. Going to her house opposite Mandir and not leaving without a full stomach (even when I wasn’t hungry) or having my questions answered (sometimes without me asking them!) is something that I will always remember fondly. She always had an open heart no matter where she was or who she was with providing you with experiences you never knew possible. From teaching us the chins, songs and the Gujarati abc sneakily in primary school to helping me understand the Vachnamrut and harder aspects of Satsang without a single judgement has shaped me into the person that I am today and for that I am eternally grateful. Such a great loss of a magnificent soul who’s positive impact has spread across the world who will forever remain with us. Jay Shree Swaminarayan
