Troy A. Trombley, age 56, of Gardnerville, Nevada, died peacefully at his home overlooking the Sierra Nevada mountains on February 27th, 2019, due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis. He was born on August 14, 1962, in Plattsburgh, NY. Troy graduated from Mount Assumption Institute High School (Plattsburgh, NY) in 1980 and from Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY) in 1985. He had a successful career as a packaging engineer. He loved hiking the High Peaks in New York's Adirondack Mountains, the Green Mountains of Vermont, Maine's Acadia National Park, California's Yosemite National Park, and Wyoming's Grand Tetons. Troy is survived by a son (24) and daughter (21), his brother Douglas (Phyllis) from Woodbridge, VA, his sister Roxanne (Chris) Timberlake from Vienna, VA, his brother S. Michael (Barbara Hance) from Saranac, NY, and his grandmother Erma Ten Eyck from Quebec, Canada. He is predeceased by his father George Trombley, his mother Barbara (Ten Eyck) Trombley, and his grandfather John Ten Eyck. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery Columbarium in Plattsburgh, NY.

So very saddened to find this obit online. It has been many years since our paths had crossed but every single morning i pass a gift hanging in my hallway that he and some friends gave me for a house warming back in '89 . i stop, look at it and can't help but smile thinking of the fun we had on Dead Tour My Condolences go out to his family and friends. I have fond memories of my friendship with Troy, starting at MAI, then on to our working summers at Price Chopper, throughout college, and beyond. His love of life, love of laughing, love of music, and depth of friendship stand out and continue to shine on. I'll miss you buddy. Keep that music rolling...
