The Hegelator...Hegel Hilfe..Thomas Hegel - First and foremost our friend, but also our dear colleague who dedicated nearly half of his life to Commerzbank / Dresdner during his 40 years in banking. It is safe to say that CBK was part of his life and he chose to come to the office throughout the pandemic – an outright professional. He was also professional at doughnut eating and the 100m sprint at the sound of the 4.45 fire alarm. His slamming of fist, breaking of dealer-boards, shouting of "where's the Middle Office!" will be sorely missed because despite his methods, underneath it all, we all know he was a big cuddly bear, yearning to be tamed. My condolences to Thomas' family on his passing. Although Thomas and I worked together closely for only a couple of years, we would often catchup on new topics after that and share a friendly greeting on a daily basis moving around the trading floor. I along with the rest of his colleagues and, I am sure, his family and friends will miss his wit and his general friendliness. One of life's nice guys for sure. Rest in peace.
