Thank you Terry for everything. You were such a great support to us and we really value your friendship and good company. Fly high. You are what the trademark TM stands for at BP.

Such a sad loss to the dealer community, Terry went out of his way to make a genuine connection and was a great ambassador for BP in every aspect. A true gent who is sorely missed.

Terry, to express what you meant to me, the bp team and our customers in a few words is an impossible task. You were the epicentre of the the team here, always generously providing support, coaching and sharing your endless knowledge of the forecourt retail business, both to me and the wider team. I'll treasure the memories, the mojitos and the laughs. Thank you, rest in peace.

After recently joining the team, I worked with Terry very briefly and one thing that stood out to me, was how much of a kind, hard working, committed and dedicated person he was, to the job, the team and much more. A great sense of humour. Always appreciated his feedback very much. A good man who will truly be missed.

It's taken me a couple of weeks to be able to post on here, and I'm still not ready to read the other comments. I've got a pretty good idea what they will say about you though, your impact on all of us was enormous. Even though it's been 2 weeks since we received the horrific news, I'm still completely shocked, and don't know how to process or digest it. I still feel like I'm covering your annual leave, and you'll be back with us next week. Though we only knew each other for a few years, your impact on my career has been huge. You were always so generous with your time, and so welcoming to me as a new starter to the team. We formed a real bond and great friendship in that time, and I learned so much from being around you. You were the ultimate professional, whilst at the same time being the life and soul of the party. Entertaining and looking after people came naturally to you. Never far from a mojito on a night out, your sense of humour was fantastic. I will remember you as one of the kindest people I've ever met, who could switch from silly to serious, or back the other way in a split second. I will miss the laughs we had together, but I'm grateful for the very good times that we shared. I can't even imagine what it's like for those that have known you far longer than me. I'm so sorry for the devistating loss, particularly to Sally and the family, who are constantly in our thoughts. Not only have we lost one of the key pillars of our team, but I know you were hugely respected and very well liked throughout the wider industry. I admired and looked up to you enormously, even though you always treated me as an equal. Thanks for being you Terry. Take care looking after that llama sanctuary in the sky. The hole you leave in our lives is substantial, but we will always remember you with a massive smile on our face. Look after yourself pal

It was a pleasure to work with Terry. He was supportive to all who knew him. Forum meetings wont be the same. As so many have said, one of the nicest people you would be fortunate to meet. A shock to us all

Terry was Mr BP always ready to assist in a most pleasant way… he was a gentleman concerned for others never himself. This is a shock which we will get over as would be his wish. RIP.
