With immense pride Terry was a loving father, grandfather, brother, husband and a loyal friend. With a caring soul he approached everything in life with kindness and an abundance of good humour, always putting others first. As a family man, he showed unconditional love and unconditional support he allowed us to go on our journey, trusting in us as we did in him. Working in his passion, with cars, Terry worked hard for his great accomplishments which he shared selflessly. Terry loved golf and enjoyed many beautiful holidays. He spread kindness and generosity throughout and he touched many hearts and enriched many lives through his friendships, the garage, the golf club and the community. Our hearts are broken as the world will never be the same without him. We will miss him dearly, but will treasure the memories, and he will be in our hearts forever R.I.P. Terry’s funeral service is 2nd June at 9.30am, due to the current circumstances only close family will be able to attend. It was a privilege to have known you, we go back 46 years, we all had great times together America when our kids were young, Lots of ski-ing trips in Switzerland, Colorado and many more. Lots of fun and laughter you and Frankie breaking the tee-bar going up the mountain like little and large we know who was too large. ha ha. Also memories of the Westerham Float 4 and 20 blackbirds in a Pie (ANYONE SPOT THE SKINNY BLACKBIRD). We will miss you a great friend, a great guy. Taken to soon. God Bless you T.C.

I offer my sincere condolences to all of Terry's family and close friends. I only played a couple of matches with Terry at Knole, and during the limited time I spent with him (about 6 hours) he came across as genuinely concerned about others and had a beaming smile. One of the nicest members at KPGC I have met and will be missed.

I first met Terry only week's after he took on the garage. It would have been around 1971, I was the Saturday boy. Ill never forget those days. He would not take me on as an apprentice because he said he could not provide the correct training. He sent me off to a main dealer (good move). After completing my apprenticeship, I went back to Sunningvale. When I went to him looking for a raise because we wanted to rent a home, he flatly refused. He did say he would give me a raise if I bought, so at 21 we had a mortgage and our own house. We have never looked back, TC did so much for Kim & I in our early life. We benefitted from his guidance immeasurably and owed him so much. God bless Terry, can't say how sad we are.

Terry was simply one of the best. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him but his kindness and generosity will never be forgotten. He genuinely cared about everyone. Our thoughts are with Chris and family at this sad time.
