Linda was ever Faithful to her family and friends, many lifelong, she held a special place in her heart for all children, young and old. As her husband, when we first met I knew that this woman had a special attraction that would lead any child to her; they just somehow knew that she cared, especially if they were hurting or lost. My deepest condolences to all family and friends of Linda. I am so forever thankful I got the chance to meet Linda! Hearing stories from Bradley always showed how wonderful of a grandmother she was and how much of an impact she had on his life! Linda every so often would use messenger to reach out to me, send videos, pictures, etc. and looking back, I am glad technology was there to connect us over the distance. Specifically one thing she shared with me was the song Heaven down here by Mickey Guyton! She said she loves listening to her sing! We will all miss you dearly Linda, thank you for being such a wonderful grandmother to Bradley!

Linda was my grandma and I have many fond memories that I will hold dear to my heart. One that really comes to mind was when I had gotten into trouble and had to write 1,000 sentences. Lucky for me my grandma had stopped by to visit with my mom and I saw an opportunity to get out of the house and potentially put off doing the sentences. So I asked if I could stay over at her house and of course she was perfectly okay with it but my mom saw right through me and told me I couldn’t go until my sentences were done. Eventually, I convince my mom to let me go but I couldn’t do any fun stuff until I was done with my sentences. My grandma was making me snacks and drinks, she was massaging my arm when it would get tired and just sit and keep me company while I wrote out those damn sentences. She was the kind of lady that would do anything and everything in her power to help you out and never ask for anything in return. Im gunna miss you grandma, rest easy up there.

I knew Linda from Compton as we went to the same schools. I reconnected with her about a year so on FB. Linda was a sweetheart. Linda was a kind soul and always a friendly smile. God Bless you Linda.
