An awesome amazing soldier of Christ, person, husband, leader, guide to anyone that needed comfort and support.A best friend, a father figure, very hard worker, all about his family, very dedicated to those he loved and cared for that was close to him and a star role model in his community and a comfort and support for people in recovery and an amazing guitar player and just all around blessing to anyone that had the privilege of getting to know him.He will be very missed but also knowing he is with Jesus now pain free, happy and filled with pure unconditional love, waiting for us all to come home.Is what helps us carry on his legacy.

Hello, Pum & I watched the Funeral on my IPhone and I should have taken it to our granddaughter to have her fix the picture…again. So, very small picture, and the audio came and went. But, we are glad to have the opportunity to see it. We only met Bernd (sp?) once, but since Pum is Hope’s oldest brother, and we don’t travel very well these days. It was great to get more information about her husband; and Hope’s and Tommy’s stories were very touching. I wish we could’ve been there to give them a hug.

Bernd and Hope came into my life over 30 years ago in Germany, they took me in as their own at a young age.. Bernd. I'll never forget what you did for me on top of that hill as Tommy and I watched threw a window, that night our fear of the threats waiting outside never occured again. Thank you as I tearfully have to say good bye from so far away. Thank you Bernd for stepping up in such a way that only man with Christ in his heart could. Keepem in line till we meet again

So thankful for the time we had with Bernd. We treasured his care and support for the family, especially Hope! He will be greatly missed, yet in just a short while we will all gather at the throne and hear him praise Jesus again! Praying for that day and to see you all there.
