Remembering Steve, our colleague and friend. Remembering Steve, our colleague and friend. Steve joined QA almost four years ago and built a reputation as a great Learning Programme Director, specialising in developing PPM learning programmes and supporting clients to realise their capability improvement strategies. Feedback from his learners was tremendously positive, his energy and experience was present in all his interactions with our clients. Steve’s ability to engage with a client and take time to truly understand their objectives resulted in many successful long term client relationships. He will be sorely missed by all his colleagues, especially those he worked closely with in The Learning Consultancy and PPM community. Steve was diagnosed with a terminal condition just two weeks ago and doctors thought that he had a little more time. His death has therefore come as a real shock to his family. We are in touch with his wife Jackie – offering our support to her and her three children at this terrible time. At the request of Steve's family any donations to be kindly made to Help for Heroes - https://herofunds.helpforheroes.org.uk/In-Memory/stephenjbeck

It is never easy to lose a loved one. My desire is that you find consolation in the promise of God found in Revelation 21: 3-4 that says that soon, "He, will cleanse all tears from our eyes, and death will no longer be, nor will there be more mourning or outcry or pain." We will see all of our loved ones when they are resurrected in a beautiful paradise here on earth, my deepest sympathy to the family.

I wish to express my sincere sympathy to your family as you mourn the loss of your dear loved one. May you find comfort knowing that, “God is our refuge and strength, a helper that is readily to be found during distresses.” – Psalm 46:1

I had the absolute honour of working with Steve each year on a large client programme and he was a joy to be with. Such a shining light; always smiling, willing to lead or just support where necessary. We had some fantastic days together and I am grateful I got to know such a wonderful man. Sending my thoughts and love to his family, who I am sure are so proud of him xxx

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine the pain that you are experiencing. However, Jehovah God is someone who always knows how you feel and wants to you bring you comfort and hope. His Word the Bible promises: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34 verse 18) I hope this brings some measure of comfort to you, knowing you have someone to depend on while you endure the pain. I was so very shocked to hear that Steve was taken from us so quickly. We were part of the same team for 3 years and Steve was always a great companion whenever our paths used to cross, whether around the country at client sites or overseas, which we had the pleasure of doing several times. He was always warm and generous with his time and conversation, and totally dedicated, committed to seeking to help learners be better. If I had to sum up Steve in a word it is 'Driven'. Whether at work or training for yet another Triathlon, Steve was always seeking to be the best at what he did, pushing for more excellence. It's why his rapid and untimely passing is so deeply shocking and sad. My thoughts are with Steve's family at this very difficult time.

We have lost a very special person with a great sense of humour, hugely admired for his PM knowledge and for me, the best early morning discussions on what made us both feel great.....cycling and Tri's. He played down his achievements and was proud of his family as we talked about bikes, wind tunnels, cranks and watt meters! Steve, you will be missed by many, RIP mate. Meet you again one day in Gods Big Spin Class! To Steve's family, my sincere condolences to you all, a lovely, lovely man.
