Dad was simply yet rarely a very humble, loving, kind hearted and strong disciple of standing for the truth. He believed in family love and extending helping hands to strangers. He was a man of peace and a strong advocate of modesty.

It's difficult to accept that you are no more. I have been trying to understand that big mummy left us and now big daddy, despite me seeing you in August last year. You were so full of life. But who are we to question God. I thank God for the life well spent. Thank you for being a wonderful father, teacher and friend to all of us. Thank you for being available whenever we needed you. Thank you for how well you loved and walked with God. I miss you everyday but I am glad you are in a better place. Adieu Daddy. I love you now and always.

THE WARRIOR HAS TAKEN A BOW. TRIBUTE TO MY DAD. Dad, If tears can bring you back, then you will definitely be here with us. -TRIBUTE TO MY SECOND DAD I came into your family not knowing what I'd find. I was nervous and afraid but you gently eased my mind. You made me feel right at home from the first day, you welcomed me with opened arms, you and my second mum, that I won't forget ever. We became neighbors around 1997 at 24 Femi Kila Street and it so happened that we were all from Isiala Ngwa and became more than neighbors. In you Papa, I saw a very hardworking, diligent, honest, compassionate and very loving family man who did all he could to dedicate his life to doing good to all who came across him. I spoke with you a few times and was planning to visit you before the end of the year only to hear this from Nnamdi. I know that life was never the same after the passing of your wonderful wife( another angel in human form) and I know that both of you lived your lives well and are now resting in paradise, away from the troubles of this world. Fare the well Sir. I will surely miss you.

II prayed with you the previous night daddy but only to be awaken with the news of your passing I never knew that was the last time I will ever hear from you, if only I knew how I would have reaffirmed how much I am proud, love, cherish and adore you,you were indeed a true hero a man of honor who stood for truth and what you believe. I will not mourn you today dad though it saddens my heart deeply but I will celebrate you this day because you lived a life well spent, my greatest task now is to live by all of your legacies. I was in church some time and listened earnestly to a priest explain how death is not necessarily evil but a path way to another life I seek solace in this fact because the good book reckoned "That the Saints shall rise again "I only pray that we all rise again to meet one another as a family once more by the power and the authority in Christ Jesus.Amen. How they say music heals the soul which of course I am a firm believer I came across this one song by “Jo Messina” (heaven needs a hero) Chorused’ Cause Heaven was needing a hero Somebody just like you Brave enough to stand up for what you believe and follow it through When I try to make it make sense in my mind The only conclusion I come to Is that Heaven was needing a hero like you Yes, Heaven was needing a hero, that's you. Yes Dad rest on Our Hero!!!!!
