Sister St. Margaret Zapf, SSJ served for over 86 years in Florida and Puerto Rico in education and pastoral care and was called home at the age of 102. Known for her enthusiasm in ministry and love of “the dear neighbor”, Sister St. Margaret embodied the Sister of St. Joseph who always kept in mind the “commitment to a life full of modesty, gentleness, and holiness. Oh Sister St. Margaret, your wit, your smile, your love for others and your love for Christ. Thank you for blessing my family with your love. We enjoyed getting to know you over the last several years, the kids enjoyed being pushed on your walker by YOU :), setting your for your birthday, Halloween and other holidays visits, Caroling on the Trolleys in December and sweet sweet conversations. Thank you for all that you did to serve Jesus. You have left a mark for sure and I pray you rest well and in peace in the arms of Jesus. My prayers to the SSJ family and your extended family in friends.
