Message from Great-Aunt Kath in London, Canada: I really enjoyed the time I spent visiting Sigi, both when she and Ron lived for a short time in Toronto and in Bad Bergzabern in Germany. My sincere condolences to Marc, Alexandra, Olivia, Tim and Jan.

Sigi was my beautiful sister-in-law. When I was a teenager, she treated me like an equal – she took me shopping in swanky Yorkville and to the theatre in Toronto. She never forgot my mother, and wrote long letters to her all her life, which were greatly cherished. Marc took me to visit her several years ago, and she was walking around the home like a trooper! Her family in Germany will miss her deeply.

Your mother and grandmother leaves a wonderful legacy as a family doctor who cared for many patients over a lengthy career. I remember her as a very stylish woman who adapted to life at the Webster cottage at Beavercroft. Thinking of you all with love.
