I am extremely privileged to have Aunty Sheila and Uncle Doug as my Godparents. When I asked my Dad why Aunty and Uncle were chosen to be my Godparents he said ‘your Mother always chose the Godparents’. Thank goodness he left it to an expert! Aunty Sheila and Uncle Doug have always been a wonderful example of faith-filled Godparents and although I left India at age 9 and we were often on separate continents, I always knew they thought about me and prayed for me on my Birthdays and if I happen to be near them (on holiday) around my Birthday they always made a wonderful fuss of me. When I actually thought about it, I was surprised at how much time we spent with Uncle Doug, Aunty Sheila and family. On our holidays in India, we were always invited to spend time with them and were treated to a sumptuous lunch by Uncle ‘Chef’ Jossie. We have enjoyed wonderful holidays thanks to all our families across the World. When Don moved to Canada and his parents followed - we spent a number of holidays there and our trip to join Uncle and Aunty for their Golden Anniversary was particularly memorable and enjoyable. When Uncle Doug and Aunty Sheila joined Don in Australia, we turned up on their doorstep there. Honestly, I don’t know why they didn’t report us as stalkers, we seem to have followed them everywhere! Needless to say, the invitations to visit were numerous and the hospitality generous and we loved them for it. As we all know, Aunty Sheila was fantastic at keeping in touch over the phone and she regularly called us to find out how we were and to give us all the news about our Aussie rellies. Occasionally we would jump up to answer the phone at 2am UK time from Aunty because she wanted to catch up and had forgotten about the time difference. Lol! We were certainly blessed to have wonderful Aunty Sheila in our lives and will miss her enormously. R.I.P. Aunty - always in our thoughts and hearts. Your loving God-Daughter Pepe

Dearest Uncle Doug, Gerry, Don, Sandra, Judy and families. We are deeply saddened at the passing of Our Dearest Aunty Sheila and will miss her very dearly. She was such a warm, loving, caring and compassionate soul, who from time to time, kept in touch with family and friends to make sure that all was well. Dearest Don, Gerry, Judy and Sally. Although you cannot hear her voice or see her smile no more, your mum walks beside you all still just as she did before. It's just she isn't visible to see with human eye but talk to her in silence and her spirit will reply. You'll feel the love she has for you all, you'll hear her in your heart, she's left her human body but your souls will never part. REST IN PEACE DEAREST SHEILA, SAFE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS.
