Scholastica Akiru

Schola was the one who welcomed me when I arrived in Loki back in 2002. She was gentle, discreet, dedicated, loyal and above extremely friendly and ready to assist in whatever way she could. She was the face of FAO there and many agencies were keen on hiring her but she remained with us more committed than ever. I was glad to see her again in 2019 when I joined FAO Somalia. We are very proud of what you achieved and so should your family and friends be. Rest in perfect peace Schola.

Very sad indeed to lose such a beautiful soul! I first met Schola in 2006 at Loki while enroute to FAO Juba. Her reception and logistical support with a smile was very welcoming! Her support later enabled her to join us at FAO Juba. Always dedicated to her work and willing to tirelessly support people. Fare thee well Schola.

It's saddening and heartbreaking but we thank God for having interacted with you. You were a gentle soul and very caring. May you rest in heavenly peace and may your family be greatly comforted during this difficult season and always.
