Satoshi Aota

I had the privilege of meeting Satoshi on a few occasions, mainly during kick-offs, bootcamps, and other training sessions at Ashridge. I was deeply touched by his energy, warmth, personality, and kindness. Needless to say, I am very shocked and saddened by his premature passing. My thoughts are with his wife and children. His example, energy, and charisma will continue to shine and live on in your hearts forever.

Satoshi was a ray of sunshine who had the power to inspire everyone in the room. What we loved most about him was his ability to make people feel comfortable, like a friendly and cheerful neighbor we had known for a long time, as well as being a good friend to each of us. We hope you're enjoying a peaceful life and looking after your family there, Satoshi-san. We truly miss you.

Sending my deep condolences to Satoshi's family and all who love him. He was such a bright light. Even having only shared one extended conversation with him over a meal at Ashridge and a few other brief hellos, I was so impressed by his energy, his warmth, and his passion for his family and life!

I was lucky to spend time with Satoshi during our Kick off in Spain 2022. I remember especially our great discussions during the gala dinner. He was so full of life and energy, enthusiasm and empathy - he really made you smile! He had really lived life to the max, making sure to fulfill his dreams, not seeing any boundaries, just opportunities and possibilities. A true role model. My thoughts are with Satoshi's family, friends and team during these difficult times.
